The UK is creating an easier route for foreign Teachers to immigrate. To teach in the UK, applicants would need to a Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) qualification. This has proved to be challenging for foreign teachers looking to immigrate.
From 1 February 2023, teachers with a teaching qualification from the following 9 countries will also be able to apply to TRA for QTS:
Ghana
Hong Kong
India
Jamaica
Nigeria
Singapore
South Africa
Ukraine
Zimbabwe

Once QTS is has been obtained, getting a job would be much easier.
Applicants will still need to apply for jobs, obtained job offer and sponsorship from employer.
Documentation needed for QTS eligibility application
1. International Passport.
2. Undergraduate degree as verified by UK ENIC (Degree Cert & Transcript). Click her to verify
3. Teacher training certificate
4. Completed a course with content that is practically and pedagogically focussed
5. CV to show have at least one school year work experience
6. Letter from University to confirm medium of instruction (MOI) of your degree.
Otherwise take the IELTS exams with a B2 level pass
Conditions to meet to get QTS
have an undergraduate degree of the same academic standard as a UK bachelor’s degree, as verified by UK ENIC
have completed teacher training that meets the standard of a Level 6 qualification and is of at least the same length as an English initial teacher training course
have completed a course with content that is practically and pedagogically focused
be qualified to teach children aged between 5 and 16 years
have at least one school year work experience
have the professional status needed to be a teacher in the country where you qualified
Have been taught in English at undergraduate level (or higher) – you will need to provide evidence that English has been the medium of instruction (MOI) of your degree. Otherwise take the IELTS exams with a B2 level pass
How does the Teacher route process work?
1. Obtain the required docs for the QTS eligibility
2. Apply for the QTS certification using UKVI approved site. The site would be active for use from Feb 1st 2023.
3. Once approved, you can start applying for jobs in the UK.
